James Ponds is back, and this time he is hosting his own Olympics! The underwater kind! Race, Feed, Bounce, Jump, Hop, Skip and many more! It is fairly hard to play without a joystick though...
James Ponds Aquatic games is somehow a game I always remember seeing on 'Games Master' as a kid. For some reason, I always remember that a guy used the cannon cheat to win the race... It is weird how things like that stick in your head!
The game itself is a waggle to run affair, where you waggle the stick with all your might to make the character run. On one of the levels you have to spin the stick in a circle, and it took me many times of playing this game against my friends when I was younger to work this one out...
Not all of the levels (I keep calling them levels, but they're more like sporting events really) require the constant bashing of the joystick however, some require speed and aigility to perform acrobatic tricks, feeding fish or boucing balls off of a seals nose...
I used to, and still do to some extent, find this game a very fun game to play. Even playing against the computer provides a bit of a challenge.
